the way arthur looked straight into the camera at the end, meaning he looked directly at us just felt like he was asking us for help because nobody else was there to help him
hey y’all, if you’re not D/deaf or HoH, remember, it’s okay to be sad about HOW Arthur lost his hearing, because that SUCKED and nobody deserves that.
but be gentle about the FACT that he has lost his hearing. it’s not a death sentence, it’s not the end of the world (though for Arthur in the moment it will feel like it!). many D/deaf and HoH folks don’t consider their hearing loss to be the most horrible thing to ever happen to them. they wouldn’t change it for anything, it is part of who they are, just as Arthur’s hearing loss (if it is indeed permanent) will become part of who he is. it’s something to adjust to, not a punishment or life-ending circumstance.
be sad about Arthur’s trauma and the way his world changed, but please don’t speak like his inability to hear is, in and of itself, the worst possible thing to happen, a terrible way to live and be. I hope I’m making sense here?
eliott saying they had to cancel the first one because he was probably not feeling well and lucas giving him a sweet lil look letting him know it is okay is why im crying thanks

haven’t Fully processed that eliott and lucas are living together like … they really come home to each other every night and wake up with each other every morning and argue about what to eat for dinner and brush their teeth together and exist in each other’s space so comfortably … isn’t that so sexy
i need something romantic to happen to me like right now
